You may remember our previous post covering Devon Seafood Grill’s Low Tides Menu.  The Chicago Food Whores attended this preview event and loved not only the food, but also the service and the ambiance! Click here for our review.

Devon Seafood is once again offering an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW to Chicago Food Whores readers to try their new 4-course Chef’s Tasting Menu before it’s offered on the regular menu!   This preview will be available from FEB. 2 – 4 after 4 pm ONLY.  Our readers can try this new menu for just $29 (regular price $35).  Wine pairings are also available for $15.  It really is an excellent deal!  Check out the menu below.

Roasted Crimson Beets

gorgonzola, pears, candied walnuts, watercress, walnut vinaigrette

Paired with: Trefethen Dry Riesling (Napa Valley)

Chive Crepe

wild mushrooms, goat cheese, baby spinach, red wine syrup

Paired with: MacMurray Ranch Pinot Noir (Sonoma)

Seared Scallops

pappardelle noodles, braised short rib, roasted root vegetables, fig demi glace

Paired with: Columbia Crest Horse Heaven Hills Merlot (Washington)

Chocolate Butter Scotch Tart

sweet and sour cherries, sea salt, sweet balsamic syrup

Paired with: Banfi Rosa Regale Brachetto D’Acqui (Italy)
