Are you interested in the local food movement?  The Chicago Food Whores make an effort to support local farmers and artisanal producers, as well as restaurants that use locally sourced products whenever we can.  If you’ re interested in learning more about local food producers and supporters, the FamilyFarmed EXPO is a great opportunity for you!

The 3-day event will feature lots of different events, from a trade show featuring regional fruit and vegetable farmers, dairy and cheese producers, ranchers and artisanal food producers, to chef demos and seminars featuring some of our favorite local chefs!

On Friday there will be a Localicious Party featuring food from Chicago restaurants.

Saturday will feature cooking demos from celebrity chefs like Rick Bayless, as well as workshops hosted by local chefs like Paul Kahan and other local food experts.

FamilyFarmed EXPO will be held at the UIC Forum.  Please go to www.familyfarmedexpo.com for details and information about purchasing tickets.

We had an absolute blast AND it was a huge success for our company! It was very inspirational to meet so many people who believe in what we believe: That Local Organic Food is the only way to go!
